If you didn’t already know. We are Harrison Ford (the band). Hip-hop speaks to so many people on so many different levels, and for it to continue on, we must all continue on. Hip-hop is in all of us, as long as we are able to recognize that there is something within us that refuses to stop learning, and refuses to see things the way they are, we can all be hip-hop. And hip-hop can become us.
If we continue to open and expand our minds, we can become learners for life as we peel back each layer that unfolds itself into truth. From the witness, to Han solo, to Indy, to The President, and back to what lies beneath. We all travel, we all learn, we all must come to grips with our privledge, or our oppression, but never guilt or pity. For all of us can make change, and all of us can help another.
And until we can no longer find any hope in those things, we will continue to do them. Music, words, laughs, tears, acceptance, denial, fear, courage, wealth and poverty. We are all somewhere, and we will all be somewhere, might as well make it here and going there, together.

Sleepin with my hands on my penis
Not erroticaly
Its just the way I recirculate warmth naturally
cluttered egos
misunderstood between the folds
certain people
praising god before the praise their souls (self’s)
i tied hard to impress the best pressed
cookie cutter chest
leader of the youth group
shut up man i saw you try too dude,
your too crude
your style is anatomy
i become autonomous
and am an atom eating its old growth
burning out the windows on a second plan refer ed to as
b – b – b
behind the mask lurks a certain gaze,
that clouds your head and builds its legs
brings its own cyanide
to the party
on Fairfax street
to relive a former dead
or sometimes referred to as
Resurrection
to the reflection of a drug hungry
feeling replacing the beauty
to actualize in one shitty
situation.
I’m drunk and confused, I’m drunk and confused
mountain destruction
mass dew
further instructions
include a boat.
fewer tools for you to build it with,
but no diagrams or no script.
no generic fonts or plagarists
just me and you and the real animal shit
you were such a bumblebee the last time i saw you;
but now you are a language dear strange and ageless formidable and succinct
no longer buzzin around
your feet
found roots to ground
organs to sound
the orchestra of your body
played with the ease of a trumpet.
dilineated lines
ill constructed concepts
i hold depth
with prospects
pains peirce guard
trade spears for heard
build fire for moon
strange flowers dont bloom
trade god for innocence
for feeling or red cheeked bliss
and the melting of the blurs
between particles that exist
in dimensions different
slip slip slip slip slip
down and fall!
Awkward is a word that is used too often.
often out problems are more than we can solve.
pockets of pennies and a magical revolver.
impartable
implausable
i’m actual
in light of moveable
take tides from all of the homespun
doubt grinds emanating from the earthly sun
swelling pulp
and a large red beard
consequences of stardust near
coagulate as i permeate the skin
cohabitate and latch to my own sin
parasitic in nature
yes
realistic in formerly proper
dress
bottomless, but less than a chinese vest, enclosed and in direst, buttoned up, feel like choking swallow steam and become the ring that sits on stubby fattened fingers well, well the memory lingers, of nights drawn out swimming and sweat filled to cope with the reality of this world i put my self in another.
